What PakDevHub is
PakDevHub is a public directory of software companies based in Pakistan. It exists so that someone looking for a development partner here can find one, compare a few, and make contact — without needing to already know the names.
Every listing is free to appear in and free to browse. There is no login, no paywall on the directory itself, and no charge for a company to be listed or corrected.
Where the information comes from
The directory started from public sources: company information published on Google Maps and the Pakistan Software Export Board's listings. That data was cleaned before it was loaded — duplicates removed, names normalised, and dead websites flagged.
Since launch, companies have also been added by people submitting them. Every submission is reviewed by a person before it appears.
How mistakes get fixed
Information gathered from public sources goes out of date. Phone numbers change, companies move city, websites go down. So every listing carries a "Suggest an edit" link that anyone can use — the company itself, a former employee, or a visitor who noticed something wrong.
Corrections are free and always will be. They are not a paid feature, and a company does not have to buy anything to keep its own listing accurate. Each suggested change is reviewed before it is applied.

How the site pays for itself
Two things: advertising, and optional paid upgrades that a company can buy for its own listing. A Verified badge is a one-time payment; Featured placement is a yearly subscription. Both are described in full on the pricing page.
What paying does not buy is a better review or a nicer description. Ranking in search results is based on the company's own rating and details, and buying a badge does not change the facts shown on a listing.
Who runs it
PakDevHub is built and run by Maria Chaudhry, a full-stack developer working in C#, Angular and TypeScript.
I started PakDevHub as a project of my own: I wanted to build something real and useful rather than a demo, and there was no good, current directory of Pakistani software companies. It is still a one-person project. I review every submission and every correction myself, which is slower than automating it but keeps the listings honest. The plan is to keep it free to browse and free to be listed, and to let the optional paid upgrades cover what it costs to run.
Getting in touch
The fastest way to reach a real person is the contact form. Corrections to a specific listing are better sent through that listing's "Suggest an edit" link, because they arrive already attached to the company they are about.
